Ups and Downs

Up: going to a great party today out on the farm with friends and sack races and hayrides and pumpkin slingshots.
Down: forgetting to grab the memory card out of the card reader. Need a second card.

Up: nothing came up in my extensive bloodwork.
Down: nothing came up in my extensive bloodwork.

Up: resources for the literature book we are doing, with vocabulary lists and comprehension questions I could use on quizzes.
Down: not having access to said resources.

Up: cleaned a little bit every day this week.
Down: the little bit was about 25% of what needed to be done.

I am feeling discouraged, can you tell?

  1. :( Housework and childrearing are hard enough when you’re feeling 100%. Praying for you

  2. I’m sure your house is in better shape than mine. I don’t really bother with standards… This has its own ups and downs. The thing is, the people who really love you still love you if your house is a mess every time they come over. And I am so thankful!!!

  3. I haven’t confessed to the www yet, but I broke down this week and hired a cleaning lady. Ouch. Okay, it’s out now. I won’t be able to do it after my job ends, but for the time being, it’s a must around here. Because my sweet skills don’t include proper use of the broom…

  4. Praying for you. I know how completely frustrating it can be to be sick when there is so much to be done. Your bloodwork is both awesome and frustrating.

I’m not sure what your symptoms are but have you looked into Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? CFIDS is so much more than just being tired. When I started getting cold after cold that I couldn’t shake, they really felt that I was dealing with Chronic Fatigue.

Not sure if that is helpful at all or not.
