No wonder...

I spent most of my high school and early college years thinking I should pursue those things I was told to do. Just do things out of duty and everything will be okay. Well, as we all know, that doesn’t work out very well.

So then I changed, and figured I’d do those things that I was passionate about, those things that, as a speaker I heard once said “most stirred up my affections for Christ”. Then that idea got kicked in the teeth, dragged around town, and left in a gutter to die.

No wonder I don’t feel excited about pursuing anything…
