The porch is lovely, but I really wanted to comment on the Decemberists (I’m a music freak). I got their CD and love it too!! I don’t know if they beat the Shins or Death Cab for Cutie..but they are close. You might like “The Submarines” too. I just found them and really enjoy them as well. I actually just bought some Tom Petty too, but he’s a classic. Anyways, I just go excited about seeing that you were listening to the Decemberists as well. Most people around here just listen to top 40 pop stuff or country (and not the cool kind, the radio-play stuff).
I love your bungalow. *mush* Looking at it, I feel like we could almost actually buy a home one day. But, like Florence King, I think we are destined to be among the “last of the red-hot renters.”
What is This Classical Life? A weblog about all the beautiful things in life, like books, food and community. It is written by Kristen, a newly-minted Memphian who is married to Michael and mother to two school-aged girls.
Why This Classical Life? Why not? The domain was bought a long time ago, the name came out of Michael's classics background and a love for WBEZ's This American Life.
*sigh* Your house is so cute.
Great house colors. I LOVE a family swing (porch swing).
We had green grass like that yesterday. Today, we have LOTS of snow. Crazy January for us here in Canada.
It’s beautiful, and I’m sure that you’ll get great use out of it.

I really love your colorful home!
