We just got Jacob a Britax a few weeks ago! But we still got a good deal...only about $20 more than the sale price listed on Amazon for the same one. They are the best! I don't mind paying that much (ok, well, actually grandma bought it, so I don't mind HER paying that much) when I know it will last and is the safest out threre! I wish I’d known about this earlier! Britax is the way to go. Being frugal and being cheap are two different things. Frugality is a virtue: cheapness is not. Frugality says, "I will save up and buy the best I can afford (and in this case, the safest I can afford)," while cheapness says, "I will buy the cheapest thing out there."
