Alexine Antoinette was born at 12:12 this morning, weighing in at 6 pounds, 12.5 ounces and measuring 18 1/4 inches long. Lexi is off dancing with Dad and I am resting in bed, we’re all doing great.

Yes, one of the great advantages of a completely natural, relaxing birth at home is that I feel great today, and while I was laying around last night waiting to the bathroom, I had wireless access and strength enough to blog (on the laptop, from bed.) I highly recommend it.
