I am not a winner. I never win anything. I used to blame it on being reformed. I’d say things like “Presbyterians never win anything.” Then I met this family here in Birmingham that won a $100,000 contest they didn’t even intentionally enter while they were members of a PCA church. So I can’t say that anymore.
I started doing Blingo in June. I don’t do 10 searches every day for maximum entries, but I do use it. Today, when I least expected it, I typed “pumpkin chocolate chip” into the Firefox search bar with Blingo as my search engine and I won a $10 iTunes giftcard (which means J.T. did, too, as my referrer!) It’s not an iPod (we could use a new one…) but it’s something. Maybe I’m a winner after all.
Yup, I’m reformed and I won from Blingo recently. I got the movie ticket. I should have picked the iTunes. If the movie ticket came with a free, trustworthy babysitter, it would have been better.
