One Word Meme

Megan tagged me for this ages ago. So long ago, she just did another one word meme.

You’re feeling: exhausted
To your left: windows
On your mind: to-dos
Last meal included: bagel
You sometimes find it hard to: move
The weather: rainy
Something you have a collection of: hymnals
A smell that cheers you up: lavendar
A smell that can ruin your mood: diapers
How long since you last shaved: day
The current state of your hair: recently-cut
The largest item on your desk/workspace (not computer): box of trash
Your skill with chopsticks: embarrassing
Which section you head for first in a bookstore: fiction
Something you’re craving: autumn
Your general thoughts on the presidential race: depressing
How many times have you been hospitalized this year: 0? Wow!
Favorite place to go for a quiet moment: need a new one
You’ve always secretly thought you’d be a good: commentator
Something that freaks you out a little: critters inside
Something you’ve eaten too much of lately: ?
You have never: dived
You never want to: go back to a PC

I actually like being tagged, even though it takes me forever to do these. It makes me feel loved or something. But I never tag anyone. This probably shows that I am messed up.

  1. How about the fact that I don’t even remember *doing* this one, let alone tagging you to do it? Ha!

And I’ve figured out the psychology in the tagging for people like us – we like to be tagged because we like to feel loved (as you said). We hesitate to tag because if someone doesn’t follow through, somehow that communicates they don’t care and therefore we suck.

Okay, so maybe just *I* suck.

    :)

  2. I agree with Megan’s summary, and I love to be tagged too. So I wrote a comment telling you to tag me whenever you do a meme (and I’ll do the same for you) but then I deleted it cause, you know, what if you don’t want to tag me or don’t want me tagging you. And after an embarrassing amount of time spent on soul-searching I’ve decided to throw caution to the wind and post here after all, rather than sending you an email, which would be easier for both of us because then you could ignore it and no one else would know. So here it is. But do please delete this comment if you’d rather ignore the whole thing.
    :-p
