Gilmore Girls (on DVD only, no WB in Richmond)
Grey’s Anatomy
House
The Scholar

  1. Gilmore Girls is worth it. *grin*

My true confessions? (All on dvd. . .)
    Buffy the Vampire Slayer
    Sopranos
    Alias

  2. Gilmore Girls is one of my most favorite shows – I am dying for the DVDs (they’re on my Amazon wish list!). I think there is a chance the Raleigh/Durham area may be losing the WB – i saw some tickers on the bottom of the screen toward the end of this season suggesting so… How sad!

  3. GG is one of my faves, too. We just have basic cable, so the networks are all we get.

I watched the first episode of the scholar but never got to see the rest…was it as good as it appeared at the beginning?

Same with Grey’s Anatomy, I watched the first few but then didn’t watch the rest. Maybe I can catch it in reruns sometime….

So, have you gotten hooked on LOST yet? You should…

  4. I’m with Allison–LOST is fantastic.

  5. Yeah, I got hooked on Grey’s Anatormy too… love Lost as well. I’ve actually never seen Gilmore Girls!

  6. Grey’s Anatomy rocks my Sunday evenings. I just got addicted at the end of last season.

  7. I’ve never seen an entire episode of Grey’s Anatomy, but I’ve heard from medical folks I trust, like my wife, that it’s ridiculously inaccurate. I did watch just a part of one episode, and I saw enough to realize that they are right. It might be entertaining, but very very very far from realistic.

  8. For me, House is about the medical drama and Grey’s Anatomy is about the interpersonal drama. Even though I am sure House is a stretch in lots of scenarios, the medicine is interesting. The medicine of Grey’s Anatomy is really secondary.

  9. i stopped watching television on network t.v about a year and a half ago -now i am hooked on the season long DVD’s. i am really looking forward getting the DVDs for lost and veronica mars – which i’ve heard great things about. and i’ll have to buy desperate housewives because our cousin is on the show (she plays bree van de camp’s daughter) and i feel awful for not watching it whenever she is in town visiting. last year, she just had a guest star status, but they gave her a contract to make her a regular next year – so i probably ought to make more of an effort to watch the second season as it is happening.

  10. House rocks. My favorite show on TV.

  11. yes, house is indeed good tv and despite the teen-ness i liked veronica mars. lost, of course, is great tv. i feel about lost like i used to feel about x-files…

oh… and if you get sci fi channel, battlestar galactica starts up season 2 this friday night. abosolutly brilliant tv, that one…

  12. I’ve recently become a gilmore girls fan. I’m eagerly awaiting the third season to arrive at my friends house so we can watch it.

I also got told by Nathan Blevins (my best friend’s cousin) last night that I reminded him of you.

    Small world, eh?
