Pedipeds are really cute soft-soled shoes, we have one pair that I can’t wait for Lexi to grow into. Kate wore them briefly and she and I both loved them. I really wanted to get Lexi some Trumpette Mary Jane socks her first winter, but just never did. They are so adorable on! They have some really hip clothes for boys and girls from brands like Tea Collection.
bellydancebaby has a wide variety of non-clothing items, from peanut shell pouch slings, which are very stylish and functional, to the cutest melamine plates and bowls I have ever seen. They also sell some very posh diaper bags from storksak and petunia pickle bottom. I never carry a purse, so my diaper bag is a major accessory for me now and it’s nice to have a pretty one! They also have the very popular and practical skiphop bags, we have a duo and I have been impressed with how durable it is and imagine I will keep using it to haul books and crafty projects long after my diapering days are done.
bellydancebaby also sells toys, and we can vouch for the quality of blabla knitted items and Melissa & Doug wooden ones. I really don’t think you can go wrong with anything those companies put out! With so many great items for new parents, and many categories I didn’t even mention (nursery decor, nursing, etc.), I think bellydancebaby is a great place to start hunting for a gift for any new parent!
